Lubuntu 10.04 Beta 2 is Released

The lead developer of Lubuntu, an Ubuntu variant featuring LXDE, Julien Lavergne just announced the availability of Lubuntu 10.04 Beta 2. Here is his release note on the mailing list:

lubuntu – how to get involved

Julian Lavergne from France posted ways to get involved into lubuntu on the mailing list of the project and I am reposting his suggestions here.

first lubuntu test iso available

The lubuntu project is advancing. lynxis just published a lubuntu test iso based on the seeds by David Sugar and additional patches. It is just 381 MB and a second one only 292 MB.
